Captain Planet

Updated: Aug 26, 2021

The Black lesbian and queer community is thriving in DC! We've got everyone from energetically thoughtful barbers to trauma informed yogis to environmentally innovative business owners. We want to celebrate them with this inaugural event of its kind.

Captain Planet

Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 2-5pm at House of Butter- 126 Rhode Island Ave. NW, DC.  Captain Planet, the event, presents the combined powers of five DC-based "planeteers" offering tactics to clean our environment inside and out. Music, laughter, yoga, art, headspace clearing, sacred foods, and creative recycling are all summoned in this communal healing event honoring the Divine feminine/queer/Blaq/transcendent spiritual warriors who are gonna take pollution down to zero. Together, our potential is limitless, BUT space on this ship IS limited. Reserve yours by sending $5-25 through Cashapp or Venmo to @gardenconcert for Captain Planet + your name(s) in the note.
